I really enjoyed the clean and spacious room which came with a lovely balcony offering great views. The breakfast was varied and fresh, worth opting for. Free bike rentals added a nice touch. The bathroom could use better drainage as the shower filled with water around my feet. I also faced a great distance from the city center. While the staff were friendly, there could be improvements in customer service during busy hours.

It has amicable personnel and bright rooms with particularly good bathrooms. Superb service and the food is fabulous.

this hotel is gorgeous and fairly clean, has amicable staff and unbeatable location to cologne cathedral. the room is normal double and equipped with central heating, an iron, and a work desk. garden view from the window is excellent. it offers good service.

Charming design with a cozy feel

Hotel Friends offers a uniquely charming ambiance with its modern decor and vibrant colors. The balcony provided fine views of Cologne's iconic cathedral. The ambiance was accompanied by attentive staff who genuinely cared.

Unfortunately, the road leading to the hotel was a bit congested. The breakfast variety could use some enhancements to be more appealing.

Arrived at midnight but the staff were friendly and helpful.

Just a good pick for a city holiday in Cologne with very nice value for money. The free bike rentals made exploring the area fun and easy. If you're looking to enjoy a morning coffee, don't miss the cozy lounge.

Really friendly staff. They made our time their lovely! I would definitely stay there again.

Housekeeping wasn't perfect - forgetting to fill soap, or forgetting to provide a bath mat. Just a few little things (that don't really matter).

I second to all the good comments made here to the hotel. I can also add that the hotel's restaurant has great food for a really good price. We would come back in the evening after spending the day in Cologne and have delicious pasta for around eur 8 / dish.

Not close to the city, although in a very cozy suburb. The breakfast is a bit expensive (almost eur 10) for what it's worth. But then you can drive nearby and there's a McCafe.

Room was clean and looked nice. Bed was comfortable.Breakfast was also nice.

As the hotel is situated near the road it was noisy.The insulation is poor so I could hear everything from the corridor. In the room of my coleague there was no phone. The hotel is situated outside of Cologne. Not far but still outside. WiFi was not working

Friends offers a good experience with its clean rooms, friendly staff, and unique communal spaces. Enjoyable stay away from the hustle of the city.

Excellent quality/price ratio, cosy and friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. It is good for families with small children since the rooms are spacious and there is enough place to play + we had two balconies, which I've never seen in a hotel of such type! The bar in the lobby was also very stylish, decorated with taste. Really a hotel to recommend.

A bit distant from Köln, but with a car it was OK.

Nice and quiet room, comfortable bed. Very helpful staff at reception, good breakfast.

Car park, it took us some time to find a parking spase.
